OLEX

Guide to Bavaria - Bayernbroschüre

Olex logo

This brochure was published in the early 1930s by Olex, possibly before BP acquired complete control. It is credited to Olex Deutsche Petroleum-Verkaufs GmbH and its sister companies in Bavaria and the Saarland. The brochure runs to 62 pages, in a glossy paper cover. Inside there are 12 very basic maps (and an overview map of Bavaria) and text pages describing the main sights of Bavaria, copiously illustrated with some 63 black and white photographs. There are also a few adverts for Olex products and an 11-page listing of Olex filling stations in Bavaria. The booklet was produced by Reinhold Kühn AG of Berlin.
